She's about to make her suggestion when the beetle crawls out from the staff.
She does her best to hide her expression of surprise, although she blinks quickly several times before re-affixing her usual pleasant too-sweet smile to her face. Just how many beetles did he have on him, she wondered? Maybe it would be even easier than usual for her to blend in if she decided to follow his movements at a later date. )
Of course! There'll be plenty to go around.

I was thinking of getting us a pound cake, how does that sound? ( There's barely a pause before she barrels onto her next question. )
